Nausicaá: how to win a Gold Price while helping protect the oceans

Receiving an award is always a pleasure…

But receiving the Gold Price in the “Customer Engagement” category from Syntec Conseil (The French professional organisation that represents the Consulting Profession), for Nausicaá goes much further!

Nausicaá “Centre National de la Mer” is a public aquarium located in Boulogne-sur-Mer in northern France. It is the largest aquarium of Europe. It is both a scientific reference center and a tourist destination. In 10 years Nausicaá has become the largest aquarium in Europe with 60,000 animals, 1,600 different species (Sharks, Manta Rays, Turtles, Sea Lions, etc.) and a Grande Baie of 100m2 in front of which some 800,000 visitors marvel each year.

The Nausicaá aquarium wanted to be supported in defining a customer engagement strategy, in order to sustain its economic balance and promote awareness of environmental issues: an exciting assignment for Sia Partners.

Indeed, at Sia Partners we are particularly sensitive to the challenges of the Protection of Biodiversity and the mitigation of the Impacts of Climate Change, at all levels of the organization chart.

This is why we are very proud to support the teams of Anne Demilly, Marketing Director of Nausicaá, as well as all the passionate people who work every day to raise public awareness for Oceans Protection. This mission of Digital Transformation around the Optimization of the Visitor Experience was a great human adventure, which continues today.
